Truly enjoyed Yorkville, the hotel was excellent to all the stores. We were very pleased with the very pretty and exceptionally nice room with a fridge and microwave.

The staff - pleasant and amicable. The rooms with microwave and a fridge, as for instance. Good facilities. Overall easy and comfortable location adjacent to Illinois, all the stores and restaurants and stors. Also, near the water park.

It was budget friendly and close by to the event that we were going to. The bed and the shower were good in which that was what we mainly needed.

I don't like leaving negatives and went into this with just a place to stay that it was a 2 star hotel. Read the reviews before booking etc. But now, after the total stay and check-out. The staff was just there. No smiles, 'how the heck you doing?' or anything. Upon arrival. If you are on the 2nd floor, you come in from either far end of the hotel. No elevators if you are 2nd floor center. (We were at the 2nd fl. far end so no big deal but worth a mention). Hall & stair carpets were dirty and our end smelled like smoke. One ice machine. We were far end 2nd floor, ice machine was on other end 1st floor. We didn't use the vending machine but the one on the 2nd floor was out. Not a big deal but once again worth a mention. We rushed in the morning to get down for breakfast before they stopped serving at 9am. Shouldn't have rushed. Very simple. Cereal, yogurt, frozen waffles, toast, coffee and milk in a pitcher that we didn't know how long it was there. After needing something I just had toast. This is when I decided I was leaving a review. I opened the jelly and I felt like I stuck my knife in a fruit roll up. It was rubber! I looked for a date on it and lived with toast & butter. Though enjoyed my wife poking the jelly with her fingernail while straining to hear the news in the lobby. (staff had remote and turned it up just before we got up to go back to the room). Needless to say. We waited and had lunch down the road at Rebounds Sportbar (thumbs up) before heading back home.
